Super Tuesday is here! At long last, Californians throughout the state have been waiting to be politically relevant. Having moved the primary from June to February, the level of politcal efficacy (that's right AP Government students, a key term for the practical world of politics) has skyrocketed.
Here are my predictions: Californians will choose Barack Obama and John McCain. The Clinton campaign, down but not out, will turn negative against Obama. Mitt Romney, once the poster boy of the Republican election machine, will be licking his wounds at the end of the night and pull out of the race. And McCain and Obama will ride into the sunset on the verge of one of the most unconventional presidential campaigns in recent history.
So, Sacred Heart students in Atherton (and elsewhere)--make your opinion known. Be thoughtful. Be creative. Be provocative. And those who can, VOTE!

Having come home from working the election about an hour and a half ago, I have to say I will never work an election again (or at least not on a school-day). The whole running out of ballots thing was certainly a problem, and the minutia that went into making sure the ballots were tamper-safe and counted was a pain in the rear (SHP appropriate language). I did learn that there are more republicans in Atherton than I thought - and that people are really dumb when it comes to electronic voting.
GREAT COMMENT, BSHAW!
