My Thoughts on the Democratic Candidates Potential

Well I am glad that we have been forced to post on our lovely political blog despite Doc's lies about how this would be optional.  This has also come at a really unfortunate time because I really should be doing my Bio lab.  So I will make this short and sweet...

So I guess I will discuss the whole primary deal and how my predictions turned out.  I predicted that McCain and Hilary would win California despite my want of Obama to win it for the democrats.  My predictions turned out to be correct.  I am afraid that if Hilary wins the democratic nomination that all the republicans will galvanize against her because they have a history of hating the Clintons.  At the same time she does seem to be winning a lot of swing voters like Mexican immigrants.  As far as Obama goes, I think he might stand a better chance in the general elections but at the same time a lot of people are turned off by his inexperience.  Basically to conclude I think the democratic nomination is going to be a really close call and we won't have a certain idea who will get it until the very end.  Then maybe we should reconviene for another forced blog once the candidates have been declared.
