Books Much?

So Barack Obama wrote some biographical books. What impact does this have on his campaign? Before he was running for President, confessing to using drugs in his book made quite a buzz in Washington. He then appeared on Oprah; I think it was when they first met. Barack's books told about his life and had inspiring titles. Hillary Clinton and Mike Huckabee, conversely, wrote weird philosophical books about children ("Kids who Kill", "It Takes a Village"). Has writing about himself helped Obama? People are very keen to know more about his life, and Obama's books certainly fill this need. The person who wins in November (and the Democrat who gets the nomination in June) will not be determined because of their books. But people who've read the book of Obama or Clinton are probably more likely to vote for that person. The real question is: will people who read "My Life" by Bill vote for his wife?
